Neuromodulators are injectable products that prevent the facial muscle from contracting by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles. These products can be safely injected into the face to cause temporary paralysis of the muscles.

Consultation

Your provider will complete a facial assessment and work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. They will then go over the details of both Botox and Dysport and will let you know how many units are recommended to achieve your desired results.

Treatment

First, your provider will cleanse your skin and then they will mark your face to map out the muscles for greater accuracy and consistency. The injections themselves are quick and comfortable. The number of injections will vary based on the number of areas being treated.

Don't

Schedule treatment 2 weeks prior to a special event.

Hydrate and moisturize treatment areas.

Don't

Avoid consuming alcohol, caffeine, and aspirin 24-48 hours before treatment to minimize bruising.

Cannot be pregnant or nursing at the time of treatment.

Take Tylenol for headache pain.

Don't

Avoid lying down for 4 hours, working out for 24 hours, and facials or deep facial massages for two weeks post-treatment.
